Our story

From a Small Family Spice Shop to a Global Trading Operation.

Five generations. Over a century. The story of how one family turned a passion for spices into one of the region's leading commodity trading businesses.

Every Great Business Starts With One Small Shop.

Over a century ago, our great-great-grandfather opened a small retail spice shop. A modest beginning — a few shelves, a handful of products, and an intimate knowledge of spices passed down from the farmers and traders he had spent a lifetime learning from.

That shop became more than a business. It became a reputation. Customers came not just for the products, but because they trusted the family behind the counter to know what was genuinely good. That trust — built transaction by transaction — is what we trade on today, one hundred years later.

How We Grew, Generation by Generation

Each generation built on what came before — expanding the product range, the geography, and the ambition.

The shop that started it all

A small retail spice shop. Hand-selected products sold directly to local families. Earns a reputation for quality that larger traders cannot match. Direct relationships with local farmers and producers are built — relationships that will outlast him by generations.

Growing beyond the neighbourhood

The shop expands into wholesale, supplying other retailers and market vendors across the region. Product range grows — nuts, dried fruits, and specialty ingredients join the core spice lines. Early lesson: quality is only as good as the relationships you have at origin.

The Principles That Haven't Changed in 100 Years

Relationships over transactions

Our best supplier relationships are older than most companies. Reliability built over decades is worth more than the cheapest option today.

Quality is non-negotiable

We test before we ship. We certify before we commit. Every generation has held that standard since the very first shop.

Local knowledge, global reach

We know our sourcing origins intimately — not from a catalogue, but from years of operating in those markets in person.
